Placed a whole bunch of order for the Grayhill switches (> $1K)... I'm afraid I'm going to run out of these like what happened during my launch. This time, price went up by about $0.20 cents apiece...

Hmmm... I have a feeling the other parts in the kit also went up by a few cents. Who to blame? Rohs, Oil price increase? .... who knows.

But there's plenty of Grayhill switches.... the big problem is the Bourns pot that every boutique preamp maker is using... It's OUT OF STOCK... I mean, like really bad, OUT OF STOCK,... and won't be replenished until January 25, 2008. BAD BAD BAD...

This is a big problem for me right now. I was so worried about the Grayhills I lost track of my Bourns stock. Live and learn.

Crisis averted.... found a supplier for the Bourns pot. But had to pay an extra $.40 apiece for the part.

But yeah, everywhere I looked, either nobody has them in stock, or just have few pieces of them.

So we're going to have plenty of kits available this coming holiday season. Treat yourself. Get a Kit. :)
