Hi Everyone,

This is my first post. I'm new to this forum and electronics in general. I just built my first ever project(s) four power supplies for use with some Yamaha PM 1000 modules that I want to rack. And...THEY WORKED!!!!

Here's my question: I'd like to install a 3-way rotary switch to select between MIC, MIC48v, and LINE Inputs. Several of my other commercial preamps have this feature. (It would cut down on adding a bunch of DIP switches, etc.). After a little research, I'm really confused regarding the number of poles, number of decks, shorting, non-shorting, size, etc.

I am a complete novice and any info would be appriciated!

Thanks in advance,
Indigo
