This will give people a reference on how great the X72 sounds.

But of course, a sample can only show you so much... I'd suggest getting an X72 for your own use and hear it for yourself! <shameless plug>

I have one on the way and first thing on the list of things to do is record guitars!
I will be using a Senn 421 MKII micing up a guitar amp I probably shouldn't name on this forum It's not a very nice name

However I also record a lot of ambient/soundtrack type music so I will be running some line level sources into a DI then into this pre for some transformer distortion.
I'll post some results when I some to post.
