 Post subject: Wrong Caps

I recieved 220mf 50v caps instead of 100mf 100v caps in my kit

Is this a valid part substitution? Also the trimmers on the VU kit have

screws on the side instead of the top. What is the proper orientation on the circuit board ?

Yes, the 220uf is a substitution. (Better, higher value for the DC filter caps.)

Position the trimmer so you can adjust the screws on the side. (i.e. screw side = outer edge of PCB)
