Mistakes happen and maybe you've inserted the fuse clips on the PSU-2448 kit backwards.

First, don't panic.
Second, don't attempt to desolder it (if you don't have the proper tools)... see this tip. http://fivefishstudios.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=636
Third, look closely at the fuse clip. You'll notice some "stopper" fins or stubs on one end of the clip. Using a long nose pliers, carefully bend these stopper fins straight so it's not blocking the say. Now, you can easily push in a fuse.
