After a long silence, I'm back updating this blog. Been busy with work and other stuff. I hope this year 2011, I'll get to release more products in the upcoming months. I have so many ideas -- but not enough money and time to do all of them!

In particular, there's this one product in my brain I've been thinking for a long, long time... I have bits and pieces of it working, the breadboard works, it's just a matter of pulling in everything together in a way that will be easy and not time-consuming to assemble.

Okay, first new product for 2011 is just around the corner... a "new" prototype preamp is on my workbench right now... sounds great!!! very open and punchy!

Just making notes on what changes I need to do on the next PCB revision (silkscreen label changes, component spacing, that sort of thing.)

Trying out a few more things (component value changes) to see if I can extract more "performance" out of it...

I'll post photos either this weekend or next week.

Nahhh, I went back to the original values. I think they were already the best.

The new values I tried didn't look good on the o'scope. I'll post some pics after I find my camera.

I'm placing an order for some new Input Transformers... to be used on this "new" preamp. They're kinda pricey... but the brand is very well known!
