I'm trying to price the new IO-module PCB, and I thought I was doing something wrong because the price I'm getting from the PCB manufacturer was I *think* too high.
So I plugged in the dimensions of the SC-1 preamp board and clicked the QUOTE button and am surprised that the new quotes are up by 15%!
The IO-module is bigger in size than the SC-1 board, and even has a cutout in the middle. So the price to manufacture even a small number of boards is really high.
Not only that, Fedex informed its customers that rates are also going up next year. Significantly!
Prices of components that I re-stock and re-order seem to be going up everytime I need them too.
I don't know how long I can keep the prices down without passing it to customers.
