I seem to be constantly running out of parts. Even if I try hard to keep track of my parts count, I seem to be always running out of a part that prevents completion of a kit. UPS seems to be dropping a package for consecutive days sometimes!

This time, I'm running out of Neutrik XLR jacks.... I gotta have these since they are now part of the SC-1 kits, instead of extras.

I'm also running out of knobs... part of the rack case package.

The thing is, there is a delicate balance between running out of parts and having too much parts. If I run out of parts, I can't ship out a kit package because it will have incomplete parts, causing delays. If I have too much parts, then a lot of money is tied in my inventory... not good either. If I order too frequently, then shipping charges become out of control. If I order in bulk, I get a price break but a lot of money is hold up in inventory as well. If I order in little quantities, I run out of parts quickly, and can't get a good price.

So consider all those factors, and there must be a sweet spot somewhere in the middle of all this.

As it stands right now, I'll only have enough parts for (6) SC-1 kits if I don't re-order those XLR jacks quickly. So off I go...
