 Post subject: How to wire Neutrik Combo XLR/TRS jacks

Pin 1, 2, 3 on the XLR jack goes to pad 1, 2, 3 on PCB.

Also, short the following connections on the jacks.

Pin 1 = Sleeve = Ground
Pin 2= Tip = Hot
Pin 3 = Ring = Cold

Would a diagram be possible?

I finally finished all 3 pcb's and am ready to wire it all up.

The diagram will depend on what particular Neutrik/XLR combo jack model # you're using. There's several variations... the jack should have some markings or embossing on the plastic. Or use a Multitester if you want to be sure.

Then just follow the guide above.
