Got the preamp in and have been playing around with it. It sounds great! A captured spectrum analysis confirmed all the reviews I read about its low end and clarity, but actually hearing it was something totally different! You weren't kidding about it's beefiness, damn. After comparing it to my other preamps, the highs are so much smoother, the low end is much tighter, and the overall balance and clarity is just amazing.
