The SC-1 Mic Preamp is a clean, "fast", clear, low-noise, high-gain preamp. It's sound is very transparent, offering a flat response, smooth highs and well-defined mids. You also have the option of installing a Cinemag Input Transformer to give the low-end a little more weight. But even without the trafos, the SC-1 preamp is a great, high-quality preamp that delivers great sound and value.

The X12 Mic Preamp captures that 70's aggressive rock sound, sometimes known as the "L.A. Sound". It's our take on a classic piece of Mic preamp. The Input and Output transformers gives this preamp a lot of aggressive, mid-forward flavor. The X12 has a little of that signature grainy upper mids with a more focused bottom end as one user puts it. Warm, big, punchy - another user said. The X72 sound is BIG, PUNCHY, and HUGE. It adds a deep, nice, WARM coloration to the overall sound. Really deep-sounding huge. And low frequencies come out punchy and TIGHT. An ultra-low distortion, low noise, operational amplifier optimized for high performance audio is used in the circuitry. Imported Carnhill/UK Input & Output Transformers are used to interface with the outside world. You can also outfit the X72 Mic Preamp with optional Discrete 2520/990 type op amp*, and Millmax sockets.

The MX5 sound is BIG, PUNCHY, and HUGE. It adds a deep, nice, WARM coloration to the sound. The low frequencies come out punchy and TIGHT, the high frequencies smooth and not harsh. The MX5 Mic Preamp features the same UK-made Carnhill Input Transformer to deliver big, punchy sound. A custom USA-made Output Transformer takes care of balancing the beefy outputs, and also adding it's own sonic signature.

We'll let happy users of our EQ do that talking. One user said - Using them is like "changing the sound of the mic itself" and less "like using an EQ", that's how natural/unobtrusive they sound and work. Another said - The high end boost is gorgeous, the AIR band does exactly what it says, giving a smooth top end boost without getting harsh. The 12k setting gives much more detail while still sounding smooth. The PEQ-503 is great for cutting some mud from a mix or adding some depth to an instrument. Using this EQ, you can be as subtle or extreme as you dare!
